Is Sonos boost no longer supported?  After most recent Sonos App update I was unable to find my system.  After disconnecting Boost and resetting WiFi router I was able to reconnect but no longer able to find Sonos Boost.  I tried factory reset on boost but never get to point where light turns steady green.  I have it dosconnected from system for now.

I never understood why anyone needed it,  if its not showing, unplug it

I bought one because the Beam that was set up in our bedroom upstairs kept dropping off the system. As soon as I added a Boost it cured the problem, probably because we plugged the Boost in to the router.

so most likely a network coverage thing.??

 

if your network coverage was in good shape wouldnt need the boost.

in the meantime, if you unplg the boost does everything else function

Unplugged the Boost earlier today, just opened the app and according to it nothing is connected. Plugged the Boost back in and all working again. Didn’t try going through the procedure to set my speakers up as with all the trouble people seem to be having I didn’t want to mess it up.

Yes it does.


Update. Recently updated my fibre broadband with TalkTalk who supplied an Eero router. I’ve now connected all my speakers to that wirelessly so no longer using the boost.
