sonos Amp always activate speakers when using tv

Hi,

I have a Sonos amp connected to my TV via an Hdmi arc cable. 
When watching tv, the sonos amps always turn on and use the external speakers.

 
Even if I change the audio output on my tv to tv speakers, it switch to external speakers after 2/3 seconds.

It is due to the fact that Sonos amp cannot be turn off. 

 

Is there a way to not use the external speakers when watching tv ?

Try disabling the CEC setting on the TV.

Does Amp have a TV Autoplay option? If so, it needs to be turned off.

Try disabling the CEC setting on the TV.

It’s not optimal but it works !
