Sonos Amp (2019) stopped working

I have a somewhat old Amp that seems to have died a few days ago. I was listening to it one evening, and clicked the play / pause button to turn it off. The next day, it was dark and wouldn’t power up or connect. I reset it with the button on the back, and the light will come on and blink white for a while, which is encouraging at first. But then it goes dark. And if you press the play / pause button it will blink red three times, then go dark again.

I suspect it is a brick. Looking around the internet, it looks like sonos does not do out of warranty repairs? Just trying to figure out my options here.

I’d certainly review the LED states FAQ, but your best bet would be to call Sonos Support directly to discuss it.

When you speak directly to the phone folks, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

I finally got around to calling support. Was only on hold for around 10 minutes. I ran the diagnostic test and gave them the number. They were able to determine that the Amp was connected to the network (even though it wasn’t obvious). And that it needed to be updated! I could go under settings in the app to see it and click update. Now it works again so yay.
