I have installed my sonance 6.1 system, and when I wire the subwoofer to all four wires- both right and left channel- the sub cuts out. It seems to work fine when I only attach one channel… at this point I have white and green connected and red and black are not. What would cause the sub to short out when all four wires are connected and why does it seem to work OK with only two?

You should ask Sonance that question, this is the Sonos forum.
Sonos does resell a few custom made Sonance speakers but yours isn’t one of them.
