Hi everybody
I’ve been experiencing drops of audio every time I play (or skip to) a new song on spotify through sonos. The pattern is quite consistent: song plays for 10s, some speakers drop for 20s and all goes well from 30s in. There is also a lag when I press skip in the sonos app before anything happens.
I’ve read all I could find on the topic but am running out of ideas.
The setup:
> 850 sq feet (85 sqm) flat, triangular shape
> Paris city centre so old building, stone walls and neighbors all around
> 8 speakers (7 Ones + 1 Arc) and 1 boost
> Boost at the center of the flat
I’ve:
- assigned a static IP to all sonos units
- repeatedly changed wireless channels of the router and sonosnet (not overlapping)
- moved the boost from another place (less central)
- changed ethernet cables
- unplugged devices around the Boost to see if that decreases interference
- hardwired the arc to the boost (no change)
- looked at the stats on the network matrix (latest below)
I cant hardwire any other speaker or move them around unfortunately they are hung onto the walls
What am I missing?
Thanks
Alex
