I upgraded to S2. I have a new ARC and a Move that play fine. But the system becomes unstable when I power up my Play1 and Connect:Amp.

 

How to solve this problem?

Likely causes to check out?

Can you clarify what you mean by ‘unstable’?  Do you see all your speakers in the Sonos app? Is the Arc, Play:1, or Connect: amp wired to the router?


I see all speakers in the Sonos app.

None are wired to the router.  (I thought with “wifi connection” one unit didn’t have to be wired into the router.

Unstable means:  the music stops playing during songs.  Random times: at 25 seconds, at 40 seconds, sometimes it gets a minute into the song.

 


resolved…..

  • changed band that wifi was using.
  • changed phone from 5 Ghz to 2.4 Ghz.
