My port is set to Family Room and will only function on ‘fixed volume’. Can’t change the volume in that room. all other rooms work fine. Tried changing to ‘variable’ but it immediately defaults back to ‘fixed volume’ on that port. Any ideas?

I have never heard of this behaviour before, and neither have my colleagues that I spoke to.
I recommend you get in touch with our technical support team, who have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and what it reports, as well as to go through some troubleshooting steps with you.

Apologies - apparently, this was a known issue (I wasn’t searching for the right thing as the problem only happens when grouping the Port with another room).
The issue has just been resolved with the latest update, however, so good news there!
