I have the original sonos amp (white one) and just purchased the new black amp. Can I use the power cord from the old amp or do I have to use the one that came with the new amp?

Well it wont match !
As long as the power source (wall socket) has the same power, it just is an electrical supply cable, and will work fine.
I tried it and it worked.
