Hello

I’d like to wall mount a stereo pair of Play:5s. I live in a Victorian terrace, which has (I think) a single brick wall separating my house from next door. This is the best wall to mount the speakers on, but I’m a little concerned about sound affecting/annoying my neighbours. Has anybody got experience of this - is it an issue?  I’m encouraged by the fact that there’s no bass port at the back - does this mean that almost all sound is projected forward?

Test it out. hold a speaker up against the wall, play something as loud as you expect to play and go next-door and listen to see if you can hear it. Try it at both proposed mounting points as the inner wall construction may vary enough to give misleading results in a different location.

You can get vibration reducing mounts to hook between the wall and the Sonos mount, effectiveness varies.

If you made some tall floor stands you’d avoid the wall conduction issue, making them stable enough is the key factor there.
