PLay 5 Gen1 Not connecting at all

I am profoundly disappointed that my Play 5 is no longer any use - a paper weight as others have now termed.

I write to see if SONOS have come up with an answer yet.  This is a very expensive paper weight, and is now not fit for purpose, nor is there anywhere that states it would be subject to be upgraded so it becomes inoperative.  Is there any fix for this please?

It’s probably best to contact Sonos Support:

The Play:5 should be eligible for the Sonos Upgrade Program, and you should be able to get 15% off a new Sonos speaker. Read more here:

30% off.

But if the speaker hasn’t failed, it’s anything but a paper weight. It can continue to run S1 software, doing what it was originally purchased for.
