PLAY 5 Gen 2 line in not working

Need to play music through line in on Play Gen 2 in a simple plug and play mode as have multiple users with devices

Have followed all instructions for settings on website:

Line in 

Autoplay etc etc

Have tried with wireless enabled & wireless disabled

Has intermittently worked briefly but then won’t work at all

Spent many hours trolling through help...and working with amp/resetting app... and have even reset amp in hope of clearing any faults.

This should not be so convoluted.

Any ideas please?

 

 

 

Reset amp or reset app?

Not enough info to help i am afraid. Is the P5 connected to your network? What device have you connected? What happens when you.try.to play from line in? What have.you.got for the Autoplay room  


Make sure that the plug is fully seated in PLAY:5’s Line-In jack.

Is your player wired or wireless? In general I don’t recommend turning OFF a unit’s wireless. There specific situations where this can be helpful for people who are truly network savvy, but most people simply create a mess. For many it’s the detail they least understand that must be the magic bullet.
