No network to SONOS, no Airplay?

This morning, Sat, Dec 11, SONOS disconnected all devices a couple of times, the disconnect lasting a few minutes. I could not even Airplay to speakers.

What happened?

My network w internet is still up so it is not my network. I can browse or stream to anywhere except anything using Sonos; I can Airplay to any device in my house except Sonos.

So the question is what happened with Sonos & if Sonos servers go down, does that mean ALL functionality of the speakers goes down with the connection?

Sonos services don't 'go down'. That doesn't mean anything and whatever happened is local to your network and system.

Your post is unclear as to whether this was a temporary glitch that has resolved itself or is an ongoing issue. Which is it?

maybe an automatic update was performed?
