Nintendo Switch Surround Sound with Beam Gen 2

Hi, 

 

I’m unable to get surround sound working on my Nintendo Switch with my Beam gen 2 on an LG CX. Here are the configurations I’ve tried:

  1. Enabling e-arc and setting the switch tv audio settings to surround sound
  2. Disabling and reenabling e-arc
  3. Setting HDMI input source to passthrough
  4. Turning off both the tv and switch with switch set to surround sound 

Hoping someone has better luck out there than me and can help.
