Hello – I am longtime Sonos user dating back to first gen equipment and app. I have two current gen individual speakers and one amp running music throughout my home. I recently purchased a second amp to power a pair of passive speakers, however, the amp unable to connect to my Sonos system. I get various error messages with the only suggestion being to unplug the amp and waiting 10 seconds. I just tried to give the support line a call to no avail, so I’m hoping the community can point me in the right direction. Thanks!

Same problem.

App crashes in final step of setup.

Have latest Sonos app. Tried on both iPad and iPhone, no difference.

Existing Sonos system so I know it works.

Amp has been in my system before so I know it works.

Steps leading to crash attached.

Not an easy or great fix, but this worked for me.

Go into the controller app and choose to transfer ownership of the system (settings/manage/transfer system ownership), putting in your account as both old and new owners.

and then go through Amp setup process again.

Finally figured this out and it turns out it was two separate issues. First, need to log out of the app and then back in...that allowed me to connect the amp to my system. Second, need to make sure all existing devices were fully updated and running on the same version as the new Amp...voila...all devices are now playing from the same song sheet.
