In response to users' complaints that alarm features are missing from the new APP, it's rumored a new device will possibly be released shortly. Here's an image of what it may look like. No other details are presently known.
Not sure whether Sonos could handle this sophisticated item.

It’ll run well for a few years, then stop randomly. Nobody will be sure why & it’ll need to be dumped in a skip, but you’ll be offered discount off a new one.

Don’t forget that they will not acknowledge the loud pop it makes when the alarm goes off unless there is an article written about it.
