I have 4 Connect: Amp units - one of the four suddenly stopped working - it shows no power lights when plugged in.

Hi

It may be a faulty power supply. I suggest you call Sonos tech support. Normally I’d say run a diagnostics first but if there is no power the unit will not register.

Try the cable and power-outlet from one of your other working Connect:Amps, if it does not work then I guess it’s a hardware failure.

I double checked the power supply - but still no joy.

spoke with Sonos tech support, he asked me to press the volume up and play/pause button at the same time, but still nothing.  I tried the hard reset - disconnect power then reconnect while pressing play/pause button but again nothing.  I’ve been doing some research on the internet - there are some videos on how to change the fuse.   Sonos doesn’t support the Connect: Amp anymore so all they could offer is a 30% discount on the purchase of a new Amp.   The Amp replaces the Connect: Amp

I’m also looking for an independent repair shop who might be able to repair the Connect: Amp

I don’t know where you are located. There are repair shops in Europe that advertise SONOS service. I’m not aware of any in the US that offer SONOS service. SONOS does not supply parts or service documentation. There are online accounts of DIY repairs.

Hi

This is a bit off subject regarding your issue…but how are you using four (4) Connect: Amps? The reason I ask is that others after seeking advice in the community have found multiple Connect: Amps were not necessary given the tech in the Amp and Sonos innovation with their newer speakers. Do you have four distinct Zones or are some being used in a Home Theater setup?
