Hello.  
 

I have my TV’s line out hooked to my Sonos port as line in, so I can listen YouTube (or anything on the tv) in Sonos. It has been working fine for years until recently. 
 

I just discovered that, when the TV is not playing YouTube, I can see the Line in as a source, but when I open YouTube on the TV, the Line in option disappears from Sonos.  
 

Any ideas? 

I’m going to hazard a guess that your TV is trying to send a signal that is not stereo, so it can’t be sent across a stereo cable to the Sonos line in on the Port. I’d be looking to ensure the TV is locked down to stereo output only. Honestly, I’d be tempted to do the same thing on anything that is connected to the TV as well, via HDMI, but that might be more challenging. Since there’s no signal (nominally) to the Port, the software is dropping the line in as an option.

Again, this is a guess.
