In addition to my Sonos speakers, I have 2x Klipsch RP 600s.  I drive them with the Sonos Amp.

I also own 2x Klipsch Heresy (about 35 years old).

For maximum performance, should I buy another Sonos Amp to drive these (1 Amp for the RP 600s, and 1 Amp for the Heresys?).

I don’t want to waste money, but want to make sure I’m maximizing performance.

thanks

If you strap both pairs to one AMP, you will not be able to individually adjust Volume. Yes, 3rd party speaker Volume controls could be used, but this may have an impact on performance (this “impact” varies with the listener).

I don’t know these speakers, but if they are really good in terms of sound quality delivered, I would dedicate an amp to each pair.

It depends on how loud you want to play them. Klipsch are pretty efficient and they may sound fine at the volume levels you want.

If you are not happy then get the second Amp.
