I haven’t used my System in a wile, and tried ti listen today, and it is not working.

My system is comprised of

2 Play 5’s <Gen 1>

1 Play 3

1 Sub <gen 2>

1 Zone Bridge Gen 2>

All of the components light up, but not the Zone Bridge.

The only thing that has changed is the Router, which was swapped out last year, so I assume that is the problem I need fixed.

If some can give my instructions on how to access my router, and fix this problem, I would be appreciated .

AIUI, Bridge power supplies are failing due to age, so that may be why yours has no light; plug another speaker to Ethernet and you don’t need the Bridge.

You set up network details when you installed your system so it’s looking for that network. Thus, you need to change the network credentials.

In any case get rid of the Bridge.

Either wire a speaker or often better  switch to WiFi mode.

Were there two generations of the BRIDGE?

Were there two generations of the BRIDGE?

Not to my knowledge nor the link:

The OP is most likely thinking of the Boost as a Gen 2 Bridge.

I thought, as suggested by the link, the ‘second generation’ was named the BOOST, and got a faster version of SonosNet (think 802.11 b vs 802.11 g/n) along with better electronics, including a better antenna and interference rejection.

I still have a BOOST in use, although my Sonos Roam connects to the signal from my router. They all work well together. If I wasn’t aware, there would be no way of knowing they’re on different signals.

Here is what I know. The only thing that had been changed was a new router, and as I look inside of it, I notice that the Wi-Fi Radio status shows the Network Name <SSID>is different than the  name on the new router. Can that be the reason my Sonos system cannot find it ? If so, would changing it to the routers Network fix this, also, would I lose my Wi-Fi signal ? I am not very good with this stuff, and do not want to screw this up. TIA

@Grandpamike

You are on the right track. Your Sonos is looking for the SSID and password used with your previous router. Follow the instructions in the link to update your network credentials for Sonos.
