Hi all,
So based of advice I was given by both Sonos and my local home theatre installation guys, I upgraded the ceiling speakers in my living room to Sonance Architectural so I could enable a Trueplay tune of the room. After lots of back and forward with support I have since learnt that their documentation was not clear and that a Connect:Amp can only support Trueplay when those speakers are being used as surrounds. (What a waste of $1200!)
Anyway instead of giving Sonos another $1000 for a new amp, I was wondering if anyone knows if I can just buy a second hand Sonos Beam, add it to the room where the ceiling speakers are and then will that enable me to do a Trueplay tune of the entire room? I can pickup a Beam Gen 1 for around $300 so seems like a much cheaper alternative if it will work.
Thanks in advance!
