Hi!

My controller connects to the wifi repeater (live in a large house) and the ability to control the system disappears as the Sonos system is connected to the ”unrepeated” wifi.

I have not experienced this problem before, but just recently.

Does anyone know a solution to this?

Depending on what the 'repeater' is, is it in 'access point ' mode, aka 'bridge' mode? Equivalently, is DHCP turned off on the repeater?

Thanks for helping out!

It’s an ASUS, model RP-AC56, and as far as I can see, the only two functions available are 1)!WPS for connecting to the router and 2) a reset button...

it does look to be a fairly simple device.  It is dual band though.  Can you tell if your controller device is connected to 2.4GHz or 5GHz?  If it is connecting to 5GHz can you force it to connect to 2.4GHz?

Hi!

Yes, I can force ithe controller (IPhone 11) to 2.4GHz, but unfortunately, there’s still no connection between controller and Sonos system 😞
