Connects to mobile app. Not found desktop app

Hey Folks. Wonder if anyone can help.

I restarted / turned off my router a few days while I was away, and since I came back and turned it back on, Sonos isn’t found ‘We can’t connect’ to the desktop app. But works perfectly on android on my mobile app.

This doesn’t make much sense to me.

Thanks, It seems to have found itself again after a second restart.

Maybe just needed everything restarting in a specific sequence. I didn’t mind using the mobile app too much, but much handier. when working you have it on the desktop.

Cheers!

Have you rebooted your computer? Is your computer connected to the same WiFi network as your Sonos speakers?

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I have rebooted.

Oddly, the first time I rebooted the laptop, a few days ago, it found the speaker. But since then no joy. Have rebooted the router and laptop today, and everything is running on the same WiFi network.
I can see Sonos is connected to my network in my WLAN device list, alongside my mobile and laptop.

I just can’t get me head around why it’s there, and working on android, but not mac.

I’ll try another set of restarts.

You can also try resetting the Sonos controller under Help > Reset Controller.
