I want to connect a Sonos port to my existing AVR. I want what I'm watching on the home theater to be able to stream to my two other zones connected by Sonos amps. I also what whatever music I'm streaming in those zones to be able to play back in my home theater as well. So can I use the loop out on my AVR to connect to the inputs on the port and the Output on the port to plug into one of the inputs on the AVR?

Essentially, yes. Think of the Sonos Port as a tape machine. It accepts line level stereo input, adds a 75ms delay, and outputs a line level signal. You can have any line level input attached to it.
