Question

Can Soundbar be used with Sonos Outdoor Speakers?

We’re trying to keep it simple and have an existing Sonos Soundbar which is great with our Samsung TV - the space isn’t large. The router is located in this room as well. The Patio is nearby and I’d like to add on 2 outdoor speakers with power - connect through wifi and make it a separate room on our Sonos account.

Will this work? I feel like I don’t NEED an amp. Am I wrong?

The Sonance Sonos speakers are passive (non-powered).  You would need an Amp to power them and to connect them to the Sonos system.

Thank you so much for the reply. I get that these are kindergarten questions but bare with me.

So we can’t just plug in the speakers correct? The passive part means you absolutely need an amp to work them?
