App issues

I have a five and an so one. I have an app on my iPhone and an app on my iPad. I can connect to both speakers through AirPlay most of the time. My problem is the app on the iPhone has the five added to it. The app on the iPad has the so one added to it but for some reason I can’t add my five to the iPad’s app and the sl one to the iPhone’s app. When I try to connect them it tells me to adjust my router settings. This can’t be the issue because both speakers are connected to the app just on different devices. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a remedy?

Sounds like you have set up the two speakers as separate systems.  Factory reset just one of the speakers then use Add Product to add it to the other speaker's system.

Not sure what you want to achieve. Do you want to have the two speakers in both apps, or not?

By “so one” you mean a One, One SL or Play:1?
