I mean connecting your Beam to your router with an ethernet cable to see if that improves the Sonos app’s ability to connect to the speaker.
You could be experiencing Wi-Fi interference. Read this article for ways to reduce wireless interference: https://support.sonos.com/s/article/3286?language=en_US
The phone is connected to the same Wi-fi. The beam isn’t connected with cable but I could use a cable to re set it if that’s what you mean?
Be sure your phone is on the same Wi-Fi network as the speakers.
Do you use a VPN connection?
Are you able to wire your Beam to your router with an ethernet cable?
Tried that but it keeps happening, don’t think sonos likes Wi-fi
