Hello all,
I was just going to send this question to chat but no reps are available. So figured I’ll ask here.
I’ve had my amp and Sonos architectural outdoor speakers for about 3 weeks now and while they sound unreal it doesn’t always start out that way. When I just start playing the outdoor speakers by themselves they are kinda quiet and lacking dynamics, a little thin. This is the case until I group them with a set of speakers inside, then they are nice and full/louder and sound incredible! It wasn’t just a one off thing it always happens.
diagnostic prior to grouping: 1607205154
diagnostics after grouping with my set of 5’s: 1495755821
Diagnostics after ungrouping the fives: 2002266900
and before you ask maybe I’m just hearing the fives I can assure you the the doors and windows between the two speaker sets are closed and I definitely can’t hear the fives. Even with the fives turned down completely.
Ungrouping the fives the outdoor speakers remain to sound great. It only happens when the outdoor speakers are started by themselves.
The outdoor set was bought directly from Sonos, so I know the outdoor speakers are the proper architectural ones.
thanks guys!
Gary
