adding a bridge connected to a Paradigm PW800

Bridge appears in my System Products list.  Gave it the name Office.

Office does not show up as a room for me to play music through…

How do I fix this?

Are you sure it’s a Bridge?  A Bridge doesn’t play music, and there are no outputs to connect to anything.

Model Bridge SN BR 1312 B8-E9-37-xx-xx-xx-y

A BRIDGE is a device (long since superseded by the BOOST) that generates a SonosNet signal, essentially a bridge between your WiFi and a Sonos speaker. You wouldn’t connect it to anything other than your router.

At this age, I’d retire the BRIDGE anyway, and connect my system directly to my WiFi, as explained in the wired and wireless modes FAQ. If I had to use a bridge device, I’d go with the BOOST, a much newer, faster, and more robust device.

If the Bridge is Ethernet-cabled to the PW800 it’s useless (other than conceivably as a wireless network bridge if there’s another Sonos unit wired to the network elsewhere).

For audio to the PW800 through its 3.5mm aux you’d need a Connect/Port.
