Onkyo receiver can't find Sonos

Hello,

 

I am a systems integrator with 10 years of industry experience.

There is an issue when trying to connect the TX-NR696 to a Sonos port with more than 8-10 Sonos devices on the same network.

 

On the initial network scan from within the Onkyo menu, I found many sonos devices on my network. I then plugged the Sonos port in and all devices disappeared.

 

I have tried everything I can think of.

Factory reset,

Firmware update,

Network reset.

But the Onkyo cannot find the Sonos port or any other sonos device for that matter.

 

There are many other people with the same issue.

Great job VR1990.  All I have are emails from Onkyo Support but never got a ticket number or anything like that.  The support person said “they forwarded things” to the engineers but I haven’t heard anything since Jan!
