Since this is a user to user forum with little Sonos participation you might want to provide us at least the kind of speaker and what you want to connect it to.

Or call Sonos Support directly to discuss it, since they aren’t in this forum. 

When you speak directly to the phone folks, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

The OP’s profile suggests the speaker is a Sonos One. However, more information is still required to understand exactly what the issue is. Kind’a makes be wonder if the OP is an adult
