Recently played — is this functional in new app?

Is ‘recently played’ supposed to be functional or is that a feature not yet available in the new (May/June 2024) Sonos app? 

Thus far all I see is ‘your recent history will show here once you’ve played some content.’ I’ve played plenty of content. That message remains unchanged. I do have search history enabled in ‘app preferences.’ I do not see a setting to separately activate or deactivate recently played.

Is this a feature still awaiting development in a later version of the new app, or am I experiencing a glitch?
