Old app fails every time I use New app

Hi all

I have some components only compatible with the old app and some only compatible with the New app. Everytime I have used the New app, the old app stops working and will only allow me to open the New app.

Anyone Else with this issue and what is the potential Fix?

I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues connecting with your Sonos S1 App.

Can you please clarify what you experience when opening the S1 App? The S1 App most likely recognizes that there is an S2 system and forces you to open the app for that system.

Potential fix: Are you able to tap More Options →  Reset App when trying to open the S1 App? If yes, then proceed and then tap “Connect to Existing System".

If possible, you can use two different devices (smartphone/tablet), one to control your S1 system and one for your S2 system.
