I found this thread and the people replying are completely missing the point.

I don’t want to change the volume on my speaker for every song. I want Sonos to boost quiet songs and limit loud songs.

This would be a nice feature to have. I have young kids and booming voices and sounds that could be auto suppressed would help me enjoy my system more and help them sleep.
