new app causing major problems woth tv autoplay throughout house

Ever since the latest app update (May 2024) we cannot get any of our speakers across various rooms in the house (beam, arc, etc) to play their own audio source  without causing issues with other speakers in the house. With major troubleshooting efforts being tried over the last few weeks we are over it!!  For example to fix tv audio issues (please note all our speakers are set to tv autoplay and have never had any issues before this app update)  we’ve found ourselves turning off and then back on the tv in question to fix that room’s audio - only then to find that doing this kicks off any audio that was currently playing out of speakers in other rooms. For extra joy, when we try to get a 2nd tv audio back to functioning what we get is audio from the 1st room playing on the speaker in the 2nd room. 
 

We have spent a ton of time troubleshooting since this app update and are so frustrated.  Right now we’re left with having to have only speaker in the house with its selected audio source play at a time (which for TV, now also means to having to turn tv off and back on if autoplay doesn’t “pick up”). This is unacceptable.  
 

Is there a fix for any of this?  Or we just left with bad software that makes our entire speaker system completely useless now?!  You have a ton of complaints posted here for over two weeks now and no provided remedies that actually address these problems. At the very least please announce a new app update is coming instead of leaving us all out here with very expensive but now USELESS systems. Help.
