Can I expect to ever see album art for my personal library. It was all there before the app update!

There is a prompt in the app saying ‘you may need to re-add your music library as we’ve made security enhancements’ etc etc. Has anyone bothered to try this or is this just useless noise? Does this help by chance with the album art issue?
I tried with no results!
Also tried this with no change.
