The sonos app says that Alexa or the google voice assistant are not available in my region. I’m in the Cayman Islands. Is there another option or have I just bought the wrong product?

Yes, Cayman island still not a supported country by Alexa as of this time.
What you can do is you can try to change the country in you’re Sonos profile and the country on your device like a phone in that supported countries.
