Is this ever going to happen?
From my research it seems this is a major failing of the Sonos/Alexa tie up.
I do not want to use a streaming music service when I already own, and add to, an extensive music library that fulfills my needs.
I am happy to use tune-in for radio and podcasts.
What is the point of having to use the Sonos app to initiate playing music from my NAS located music library to then be able to use Alexa to control the volume etc.
Surely I am not the only loyal (nearly 15 years) Sonos user that wants to control aALL my music using voice?
Come on Sonos, be honest, if you are not going to do this soon, then just tell us.
