Do we know if the sonos one is the same as the play 1 in that it can be installed in the bathroom? I currently have the play 1 wall mounted and wondered if I could replace this with a sonos one?

It will work just as well as the play 1 in terms of dealing with humidity; but depending on where the wall mount is located, Alexa may not work well.

The mount you have for the Play:1 may not fit the One, there is no screw hole at the back of the One

I thought that was weird too: why remove the best way to wall mount??

Sonos has stated that the One was so crowded inside they could not fit the mounting hole. Should have made it 1" bigger than the Play:1 and they could have the mounting hole and people wouldn't assume it could pair. Kill two birds with one stone. 😉
