Sonos One and a Sonos 5 in the same room
I have a Sonos One with Alexa working well in the dinning area and a Sonos One In the hall all good but was wondering if I put Sonos 5 2nd gen in the dinning area with the sonos one will Alexa still hear my voice over the amount off sound in that particular room . I do sometimes struggle with Alexa when music is at level 9 on the Sonos One and have to manually reduce volume first before Alexa can duck the volume to hear commands I am thinking if sonos 5 will be to much then get another Sonos One and Stelio par them in the dining area thank s

Music will impact the ability of Alexa to hear commands but I wouldn't expect the Play:5 to be any different to other Sonos devices, it's just down to the volume. With regards to your two options, a stereo pair of Sonos Ones sound better than a Play:5 in my opinion.
