View originaliPhone to ethernet to Sonos 1: playing my saved music with no wifi
I'll be at a music festival where wifi is unreliable at best. I know I can get a Lightening to RJ45 ethernet adapter, so I'm thinking I can play my music on my sonos 1 through the ethernet connection. Will this work? Any tips/suggestions I should know so I can make it work?

Not really. The Sonos speakers (there is a PLAY:1 and a Sonos One, but no Sonos 1) requires a network signal, which is not what a lightning port sends out. You'd need to get a travel router of some kind, that you could connect both your phone and the speaker to, so you could play music on a true network, without being connected to the outside world.
I'd definitely set it up at home first, just to make sure everything is working the way you want, before leaving home and your access to wifi.
