It used to happen within a second, now it takes about 6seconds for the dim to undim, if that makes sense…..
On my Sonos Roam it takes less than a second after the ‘Alexa, turn it up’ (etc) command to go back to the audio source.

Try unplugging the Beam from power for about a minute and rebooting your router.
