Can I play a Pandora station on both the Echo and my Sonos Play:3 simultaneously so it's essentially having two connected speakers?

Their syncing is different because they use different technologies to achieve syncing. Sonos uses a patented scheme to achieve synchronization and I highly doubt they are going to allow other speakers to use that technology, just to have them cut into sales of Sonos devices.
Currently it doesn’t work but I don’t understand how their “syncing is different”.
