I know this was discussed a few years ago but it appears the conversation is now closed and, I believe, still unresolved.

i have numerous Alexa deviles all called “computer” but my Bem, and my One’s require “Alexa” as the wake word. I would love to replace my aging Amazon devices with Sonos but not if I have to change the wake word for all of these devices.

Surely the engineers can figure out a way to solve this problem. ( Iknow, stop calling me Shirley…)

At this time the wake word on Alexa on Sonos cannot be changed. I will pass your request for this feature to our product development team for consideration, but ultimately it’s Amazon’s decision to build this feature into their voice service for us to use.
