Hi Wyslowiony, calling is currently an Amazon Echo only feature. It's not going to be available on the Sonos One for now.

You'll be able to use Alexa skills with Sonos One, and a lot of the other Echo features too, like alarms, lists, and timers. However, some specific Alexa features only work on Amazon Echo devices. The drop in and Alexa calling and messaging are such features.

The Sonos One will get news and answers, manage your smart devices and enjoy the wide selection of Alexa skills. While it's not an Amazon Echo device, you can definitely enjoy the vast majority of Alexa convenience on the Sonos One.
Ryan S - Sonos One has some but not all Echo functionality and it is disingenuous for Sonos to have advertised this speaker as having Alexa integration. While you claim it can get news, it cannot play flash briefings.

Hi Leo, news is on the way. We're working with the Alexa team and flash briefings should be ready on the Sonos One soon.

There are some features that are only available on Amazon Echo devices, like the drop in and calling features. The Sonos One isn't an Echo device, but it is Amazon Alexa equipped. You'll also see the integration get better over time as more features come to Alexa devices, and we are continuing to build on the current software.
