I’ve lately just noticed Arc is calling spectrum.s3.amazonaws.com every 5 minutes 24/7. Since then I’ve just blocked this host on my AdGuard dns and to my surprise Alexa is working just fine. I have a few other Echo devices and none of them is calling this host. WTH Sonos?
This reddit post indicates it is Alexa-related, but as Alexa still works when blocked I assume its some telemetry endpoint and not critical to functionality.
