Please ask the engineering/coding team to incorporate Amazon’s ability to change the wake word and change the voice settings. Very frustrating that these options still are not included and Sonos is still essentially ensuring the virtual assistant stays gendered. Shouldn’t be that difficult and right now appears to be lack of priority/care.

You’re asking for the virtual assistant voice to sound neither male or female? Or you saying you should be able to pick the gender of your speaker?
How do you know it’s not difficult ? I’m not even sure that Amazon allows 3rd party assistants to change the voice Alexa responses, and if so, what are the hardware/software requirement are for the feature. As far as priority goes, are you claiming that Sonos isn’t listening to a high volume of customer requests for a different Alexa voice, or that Sonos is being socially irresponsible in some way for not having different voice options?
Wake word is a different matter. There are lots of requests for that, mostly not just preference, but that a person in the home is already named Alexa or something of that nature. The fact that it hasn’t been done makes me think that it isn’t as simple a change as it appears from the outside, having very little knowledge of how the tech works.
