Alexa says "Playing music on provider XXX is not supported"

Hi,

I have a collection of tracks stored locally. I’m trying to play them on my One (S2) using Alexa, and I’ve installed various media servers and associated skills (Plex, My Media, our jukebox...).  Every time I ask Alexa to play a track using the appropriate syntax, I get a voiced error “Playing music on provider XXX is not supported”, with XXX being Plex, etc.

Has anybody else run this issue?

Thanks,

-marc

I may be out of date on this, but I thought it just wasn't possible to trigger local content to play using Alexa.

Thanks John.  This is apparently possible on other speakers but not on Sonos.

What is the source of that information please?

Sorry, I did not keep track of any of that information. It’s a showstopper making the One essentially useless for me at that price point.
