I've got Alexa on my Sonos speakers. All of a sudden, Alexa will listen (speaker volume lowers), the light will flash, but there's no action on simple things such as "volume down" and "stop". Everything used to work fine for a year, but now nothing.

I've tried all the usual, remove Alexa, re-add, re-install skills, reboot speakers... Again, this happened all of a sudden, without me changing anything.

There has been another post similar to your situation, although not exactly the same.

I suggest that you contact Sonos support in case there is a wider issue with Alexa.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I assigned a static IP to all my Sonos devices, power cycled router and devices, checked that they all got their static IP without any overlap, but the bahaviour still persists.
