Alexa and Amazon music had been working on my system but now it has stopped working. Alexa will acknowledge the request and confirm the song choice but the song will not play. As a work around I tried to use Sonos voice assistant instead and Amazon music isn’t available as a music service in the Sonos app.

 

Also another issue is that my Sonos move isn’t showing in the Sonos app, only my Beam and surrounds (Sonos one so x 2). The app is very poor and extremely slow for what was once a quality product.

If it’s an S2 system then check your country settings in your online Sonos profile here:

Then…

Try also removing the Sonos Skill in the Amazon Alexa App and also remove the Alexa assistant from your speakers and wait a minute or so and then add the assistant back. This will also reinstate the Sonos Skill automatically and just see if that perhaps works for you.

If the problems persist after doing these things then it maybe best to reproduce the issue and immediately submit a Sonos system diagnostic report from within the Sonos App, note it’s reference and then contact/chat with Sonos Support Staff via this LINK and see what the Staff can perhaps suggest to resolve the matter.
