How do I get two sonos amps to pair in stereo in the same room with one set of speakers connected to each and will there by a delay in audio? Thanks

You cannot pair two Amps is stereo, each is already powering a stereo pair of speakers. What you can do is group them together to play in sync. You do this by tapping the Rooms tab, tap Group, then select both Amps and tap Done.
Thank you and do I set up the send amp exactly as the first ?
Yes. You won't be able to give it the same room name, so say if the first is Living Room, call the second Living Room 2.

You can bond two Amps together with one operating as the front channels of a surround sound system and the other one operating as the rear channels. This would be in a 4.0 configuration though, not as 2.0.

Just go into the settings of the one that's going to be the front and select Room Settings > Surrounds.

However, this is different from having the two operating as a stereo pair or as separate speakers grouped together in the same room.
